I have created this website because I believe that those of us who own and operate Short Term Rentals at MVV have some common interests. In particular I am concerned about actions being taken by the strata council and restrictions that may arise through the proposed new bylaws. It also occurs to me that there may be other ways we can collaborate for the mutual benefit of all of us.
For example, we could look at creating a different website to promote our location and the STR units available here. We could also create links and information sources here on this website to assist in the operation of our STRs and to help with RDEK and provincial regulatory issues.
In general I believe we have common interests and that there is strength and benefit in numbers. So I have created this website to begin the process of achieving that purpose.
For now, I have set up a mailing list to gather names and contact email addresses of STR owners. If you are interested in the benefits of collaborating, please sign up below.
